The crazy thing about this book is even though I liked both main characters, they were bloody frustrating to read about sometimes.Samantha Kennedy just transferred to Homicide and Hunter wants nothing to do with her but Kennedy won't let her get away with treating her like a sidekick. And to top it off, there's a burgeoning romance sub-plot between two women, one gay and the other in a straight relationship who becomes interested in the gay women. They're affordable and two blocks from the mall, restaurant lane (slide road) and 5 minutes from the college if you get on the loop. Way too much happening for one small team to handle, and then Hunter does even more and gets into ~unexpected~ and ~totally random~ dangerous situations/opportunities to catch bad guys.

The room was tiny and not clean,I did not partake with breakfast as I had enough of this minging place! The area containing Hunters Way, Droitwich contains a higher-than-average level of social housing - 52% of household spaces.I have spoken to the property manager about this matter and I would like to find some kind of resolution for her. If you’re looking for a well presented four bedroom detached house enjoying an enviable low maintenance and level rear garden with southerly aspect then this is the perfect property for you.

I'm still listening to this but I have to say that the performance is really marred for me by the over-enunciation of the narrator. A beautifully presented 3 double bedroom detached family home with a generous wrap-around garden, gated driveway and partly converted garage. However, the author/characters conflate transgender with transvestite, misgender characters at times (and the minor offense of using the term 'transgendered'), and reinforce the trope of "men in dresses". the fact that everyone, even Tori, the other MC, doubted everyday, every night, about Samantha’s sexuality because of Robert, the most bland man in existence is not even funny, like, my homegirl Sam already said she aint into him, maybe… thrust her? And later, Abby captured the beautifully intimate moments in a way I have found very few narrators can.The property is also well placed being within easy access of Junction 27 of the M5 motorway together with Tiverton Parkway railway station alongside providing a main line rail link to London Paddington. Exactly what in the actual fuck did I read, for all I know this book was written by the most homophobic, extremely transphobic, racist and misogynistic person in history.

I feel it should’ve been handled that way OR written in a way that the rape was prevented altogether by Tori showing up to save the day just before things escalated. No sordid sex scenes, which I appreciated, given the tendencies of many "romance" novels these days, and a pretty good murder mystery. In the end, I came to my senses and realized that this is much more a romance than a mystery book or police investigation.If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published. The only reason for four stars is a bit of awkwardness in a few areas (the department's head response to Hunter is always the same sequence (wth, no, well okay, be careful), some of the romance was too close, time wise to the crime events, so didn't feel realistic, one character changed his homomorphic views too quickly, imo).
